About the Role

This is a key leadership role in a strategically important territory, responsible for designing plans to meet sales & revenue targets, building and developing relationships with customers and partners, ensuring strong revenue generation and excellent ongoing relationships. You would be reporting to the CEO, based on the East Coast of US and working closely with other members of the global leadership team.

What You’ll Do 

  • Set regional strategy that is approved by the Board that is in line with Anthem’s growth targets

  • Responsible for North American & Canadian sales & revenue: new customer sign-ups, on-boarding and customer success (including upsells)

  • Expanding our customer base whilst building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
    Attending and leading Anthem’s representation at industry events, being the public face of the company, enhancing Anthem’s profile in North and South America

  • Maintain deep understanding of client business, local market regulations and continually serve as a client advocate with the customer being central to all decisions. Serve as executive sponsor for most important customer and prospect relationships

  • Influence the company’s marketing strategy and activities facing North & South American markets

  • Hiring and managing a commercial team to support our North American growth
    Travelling extensively: meeting customers and attending events

About You 

  • You have extensive gambling industry experience: either an operator (customer affinity) or provider (understands B2B)
  • Sports orientation but with some experience or exposure to casino (or vice versa)
    Good knowledge of across all sports, casino, live dealer, lottery and social casino
  • Are ‘Data friendly’ & feels comfortable with technical talk
  • Are excited by a start-up type approach & happy to 'roll your sleeves up’
  • Have the ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Have proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Have proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Have proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
