Product Manager – Product Discovery

As a Product Manager within Future Anthem, you will be responsible for the product discovery and commercial validation of new business opportunities. About the Role

This key role will be at the centre of delivering our aim of being the must-have growth ingredient within the online gaming industry. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer and working directly with a development team of Data Scientists and Engineers, you will be responsible for discovering, ideating, and qualifying business opportunities. You will work closely with the Anthem leadership team and directly with potential customers and partners to gather and define opportunities and turn them into market-leading and innovative propositions.

What You’ll Do 

  • Product Discovery backlog, ideation, and definition of new business opportunities
  • Collect and analyse feedback from the leadership team, customers, and partners to ideate new business opportunities
  • Work directly with a development team to define and scope development efforts required to execute new business opportunities
  • Be accountable for the Product Discovery backlog, ensuring that the Dev team(s) are working on clear and prioritised user stories
  • Work with the Delivery Leads and Scrum Masters to ensure that the Scrum Process is followed, enabling the Dev Teams to deliver value in an efficient and effective way
  • Support the establishment of new products originating from the Product Discovery backlog
  • Support Sales teams in pitches about new products for new clients or up-sell to existing clients
  • Produce clear marketing collateral that articulates the value proposition of new products, supported by the Product Marketing team
  • Acts as an ambassador and evangelist for Future Anthem products in gaming media and social

About You 

  • Gaming industry experience with a demonstrable understanding of player behaviours and the broader ecosystem (operators, studios, data suppliers)
  • Experience working with and communicating with Executive teams and senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable working autonomously to take ideas and turn them into clearly articulated business opportunities
  • Experience working with SCRUM development teams
  • Clear understanding of the Product responsibilities within a SCRUM development team
  • Excited by a start-up-type approach & happy to 'roll your sleeves up.’
  • Strong analytical skills

  • Has the ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-level
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Type: Permanent/ FTE

Location: London, typically 2/3 days per week in office

Hours: 9 am – 6pm Monday – Friday with one hour for lunch (40 hours per week)
