Here we are folks, another year, another installation of Future Anthem’s highly anticipated recommended reading list. As a company filled to the brim with bookworms, we couldn’t be happier to kick-start 2024 with our list of first-class reads.

Last year, our talented team here at Anthem showcased 30 great books, this year we’re taking a step further by delivering ten more for your reading pleasure.

Not sure where to begin with our exhaustive list? Let us help you out with a handful of chosen titles to get you going, starting with [A History of the World](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/136197238-a-history-of-the-world-by-andrew-marr?from_search=true&from_srp=true&qid=MsacHUr5aT&rank=1) by renowned journalist and broadcaster Andrew Marr. This insightful book explores the great change-makers of history and the events that shaped societies. If you’re a history buff, we can guarantee you’ll enjoy this one.

Last year we told you to read Anthony Kiedis’ Scar Tissue, a truly incredible book exploring the turbulent life of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ frontman. This year we’ve got another great musical autobiography for you, [Dave Grohl: The Storyteller](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/158396461-dave-grohl?from_search=true&from_srp=true&qid=idEPT467L5&rank=1).  This man’s career has seen him part of some of the greatest bands on earth including Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age and of course the Foo Fighters.

Fancy a heartwarming tale of unexpected friendship? Fredrick Backman’s [A Man Called Ove](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/18774964-a-man-called-ove?ref=nav_sb_ss_1_16) is for you. This story follows a grumpy yet loveable man whose solitary world is turned on its head when a boisterous young family moves in next door. Well worth a read.

If you want a story with meaning, try [Who Moved My Cheese?](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4894.Who_Moved_My_Cheese_?ref=nav_sb_noss_l_19) This book focuses on dealing with change in work and life, emphasizing the importance of being able to adapt to change to succeed.

Our final suggestion just has to be one related to Future Anthem... [Before Machine Learning Volume 1 - Linear Algebra for A.I: The Fundamental Mathematics for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/125238438-before-machine-learning-volume-1---linear-algebra-for-a-i) Give this one a read and who knows, you could be working alongside our talented Data Scientists one day!

Happy reading!
